Melissa lives with her German Shepherd puppy, Bear, in northwest/central CT. She rescued him from a shelter in Missouri in 2016, and ever since, he has made her laugh with his goofiness and lovable nature. He loves to play Frisbee at any hour of the day (or night), and will do absolutely anything for peanut butter or a belly rub. Melissa and Bear spend their days playing with her sister Michelle, and trying (and usually failing) to keep up with her greyhound-mix dog (and Bear’s best friend) Guille – who happens to live right across the street!
Nicole has always been an animal lover. She currently owns three rescue dogs, two of which were "foster fails" after volunteering as a foster mom with Dog Star Rescue out of Canton, CT. In addition, she owns guinea pigs. She is currently a graduate student at the University of St. Joseph, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She plans on using animal assisted therapy in her practice when she graduates. She also currently works as a personal trainer. When she's not cuddling her beloved rescues, she enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, particularly at the beach (especially in Cape Cod) and reading. She also spends too much time watching funny dog videos on the internet!
Angela grew up with three dogs and took care of them until she left for college. After graduating, she begun a career as an Engineer and adopted Maggie from the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter. Maggie a very hyper Labrador Retriever Mix, who does not like to have pictures taken (lol!). She does, however, love play dates with her friends at the park and to go on hikes. Angela & Maggie currently live with another roommate who also has two really adorable Pomeranians. They all frequently hike together.
Start to think about how you would like to incorporate your pet(s) into your day. Think about the timeline - what time we should arrive and how long we should stay. Will your pet(s) be there for the first look? Part of the ceremony? If you don't know exactly what you want, that's ok too! We can talk about what plans you have in place already and what other pet parents really enjoyed. This is a great time to schedule a free phone consult.
To reserve your date and sitter, we require a deposit. The deposit will guarantee that we're available for your date, and prevent it from being reserved by someone else. It will also allow us to make the “Pawfect” plans for you and your fur baby! Often times, your final timeline may not yet be locked and that some details may change between the date you book with us and your wedding day. Rest assured, we’ll discuss any potential changes during the final call, and we'll adjust the timeline and invoice at that time.
Our final coordination call takes place about 3 weeks before your event date. This helps to ensure we all have all the correct information and finalize all the last minute fine details. After the finals call, we'll send you the final checklist and timeline for approval, as well as your final invoice.
