Veronica rescued JakeBear from North Shore Animal League in March 2014. JakeBear is a Corgi German Shepard mix. He has heterochromia iridis, a unique and harmless genetic condition that has given him one blue eye and one brown eye. At 23 pounds he loves to run around the yard, roll over for belly rubs, eat, and sleep!! Veronica & JakeBear frequently travel together, often visiting friends and family in the northeast and her parents in FL.

Jen lives on eastern Long Island with her husband, their two children, and their beloved rescue pups, Penny and Cannoli. Penny joined the family in 2017, followed by Cannoli in 2022, and both dogs fill their home with endless love and happiness. Penny even played a special role as the ring bearer at Jen’s wedding—an experience that introduced Jen to Pawfect for You. Jen’s love for animals began at a very young age. Growing up with two dogs of her own, she has carried that passion throughout her life and continues to nurture it by working with animals whenever she can. A devoted dog mom, Jen is always excited to meet new furry friends and treats every animal she encounters as if they were her own.

Dana works as a dental hygienist during the day and lives on Long Island with her husband, Thomas, and her 13 year old maltipoo, Bailey. When she was 18 years old, Dana and her family started looking for a new puppy met a little fur ball with lots of different colors. She instantly fell in love. Though Bailey has had a rough few years between doctors visits for back problems and diabetes, he is one of the best parts of her life.  Dana has a natural affinity for all animals and just can't get enough of them. She loves sitting for all pets and will treat your babies just as well as she treats Bailey, since she knows first hand just how important they are to us. She can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!!

Lucy is the person who runs up to all the dogs when she walks into a room. She has been a Pawfect Pet Sitter since 2021. She has also worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years, where she has become more than familiar with all breeds and their personalities. She lives with her family dogs Buddy, Daisy Duke, and Little Dog. Little Dog is a 12-year-old beagle who loves snacks, walks, and naps. Buddy-7 and Daisy Duke-1 are boxers who love rides to the beach, slobbering up her clothes, and going to daycare with Lucy. She loves meeting your four-legged children and cannot wait to help them be a part of your big day!

Deirdre currently lives on Long Island and is in Graduate School for Mental Health Counseling at Adelphi University. She has three dogs; Shadow-13, Daisy-12, and Violet-1 (pictured). She got Shadow as a puppy for her sweet sixteen gift instead of a party and it was the best decision she ever made.  Deirdre loves sitting for pets of all sizes and loves the idea of including dogs in the wedding ceremony and in pictures as they are part of the family. She looks forward to bringing more dogs to weddings and seeing the happiness and love it brings to each couple.

Lauren is a graphic designer and huge dog lover based out of the South Shore of Long Island. Lauren's always the one asking, "can I pet your dog?" and feels happiest when spending time with pups. She has two dogs, a 9 year old Golden Retriever named Dexter and a 9 month old Shepherd puppy named Archer. Lauren and Dexter trained as a therapy dog team, providing comfort and teaching children to work past their fears of dogs for 3 years. She can't wait to provide your pet with all the love and attention they deserve on your big day!

Amanda is a marketing professional working in NYC during the week. She lives with her partner and mountain cur, Summit, in Nassau County. She loves to take Summit on adventures across Long Island and beyond. Her partner and her spend many weekends hiking and visiting breweries with Summit. Amanda looks forward to helping families include their pups on their special days!
