Veronica rescued JakeBear from North Shore Animal League in March 2014. JakeBear is a Corgi German Shepard mix. He has heterochromia iridis, a unique and harmless genetic condition that has given him one blue eye and one brown eye. At 23 pounds he loves to run around the yard, roll over for belly rubs, eat, and sleep!! Veronica & JakeBear frequently travel together, often visiting friends and family in the northeast and her parents in FL.

Cal currently works as a teacher and coach on Long Island and has always been a tremendous dog lover. She grew up with a golden retriever and now has a black lab mutt named Jack that her and her mom rescued in 2011.. He is the light of their lives (and very spoiled!). She has always dog sat for neighbors and friends, so she has plenty of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. In her free time, Cal likes to take Jack to parks, beaches, or just on walks around the neighborhood. She's very much into fitness and travel, so being able to incorporate her pup into both of those interests is always the best!

Jennifer and her husband live on eastern Long Island with their beautiful rescue, Penny. They rescued their little baby girl in 2017. Her love for animals started at a very young age. She grow up with two beautiful dogs, and keeps her passion alive by working with animals on the weekends. Jennifer is a wonderful dog mom who is always excited to see new animals. There is no doubt in the world she will treat every animal she meets as her own baby!

Megan and her husband live on Long Island with their two fur babies, Macy & Marcus. Megan adopted Macy from an animal shelter in Maine when she was only a puppy in 2015, and actually slept in her car overnight in the middle of winter to be sure she was one of the first in line for the adoption event! Marcus entered their family in 2018 and was rescued from a shelter in Connecticut and has been a rambunctious addition ever since. Megan enjoys taking her babies for walks, running around with them in their back yard and cuddling up with them on the couch. She loves dogs of all sizes and frequently pet sits for friends and family members. If chosen for your wedding, Megan will take the very best care of your fur baby and love them like they were her own!

Dana works as a dental hygienist during the day and lives on Long Island with her husband, Thomas, and her 13 year old maltipoo, Bailey. When she was 18 years old, Dana and her family started looking for a new puppy met a little fur ball with lots of different colors. She instantly fell in love. Though Bailey has had a rough few years between doctors visits for back problems and diabetes, he is one of the best parts of her life.  Dana has a natural affinity for all animals and just can't get enough of them. She loves sitting for all pets and will treat your babies just as well as she treats Bailey, since she knows first hand just how important they are to us. She can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!!

Lucy is the person who runs up to all dogs when she walks into the room. She lives with her family dogs Buddy and Little. Little is an 8 year old rescued beagle who was found as a puppy with mange. Lucy and her brother fell in love with Little and convinced their parents to take her in. Buddy is a 3 year old black sealed boxer with a lot of energy and a lot of slobber. Both dogs love traveling with Lucy to the beach and swimming in the water. Lucy loves all dogs she meets and treats them as her best friends!

Deirdre currently lives on Long Island and is in Graduate School for Mental Health Counseling at Adelphi University. She has three dogs; Shadow-13, Daisy-12, and Violet-1 (pictured). She got Shadow as a puppy for her sweet sixteen gift instead of a party and it was the best decision she ever made.  Deirdre loves sitting for pets of all sizes and loves the idea of including dogs in the wedding ceremony and in pictures as they are part of the family. She looks forward to bringing more dogs to weddings and seeing the happiness and love it brings to each couple.
