Sofia Sainz has been an animal lover her whole life. She has over 15 years of experience dog sitting for all kinds of fur babies: small and large dogs, young and older pups, and all kinds of temperaments. She grew up with a pup herself and now has her own pandemic pup, so she will treat your dog as her own - with respect, care, belly rubs, and of course lots of treats! She currently resides in NYC and works for the Center for Earth, Energy, and Democracy. Outside of work she can be found hiking with her dog Oreo, trying out new recipes, propagating her plant children, and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to helping couples include their fur babies into their special day!
Kelly was born into a dog-loving family and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Her first word was "puppy" and she learned to walk by bracing herself against her family’s English Springer Spaniel. A lot has changed since those early years, but one thing has remained constant: Kelly’s love for dogs. Kelly decided to make a career change during COVID-19 and applied to Columbia University School of Nursing. She is now finishing her last semester and is excited to earn her Master’s of Science in Nursing and begin working as a pediatric nurse. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs, Maizey (an 8-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel) and Nala (a 2-year-old cocker spaniel). Their favorite activities include: going to the dog park, hosting breed-specific meetups, and fostering dogs until they find their forever homes.
Start to think about how you would like to incorporate your pet(s) into your day. Think about the timeline - what time we should arrive and how long we should stay. Will your pet(s) be there for the first look? Part of the ceremony? If you don't know exactly what you want, that's ok too! We can talk about what plans you have in place already and what other pet parents really enjoyed. This is a great time to schedule a free phone consult.
To reserve your date and sitter, we require a deposit. The deposit will guarantee that we're available for your date, and prevent it from being reserved by someone else. It will also allow us to make the “Pawfect” plans for you and your fur baby! Often times, your final timeline may not yet be locked and that some details may change between the date you book with us and your wedding day. Rest assured, we’ll discuss any potential changes during the final call, and we'll adjust the timeline and invoice at that time.
Our final coordination call takes place about 3 weeks before your event date. This helps to ensure we all have all the correct information and finalize all the last minute fine details. After the finals call, we'll send you the final checklist and timeline for approval, as well as your final invoice.
